Guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo of the mighty Metallica joined jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington’s band live on stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. Metallica’s “My Friend Of Misery” from 1991’s Metallica, the Black Album was the song choice. This year marks the 30th anniversary of The “Black” Album. Kamasi Washington is just one of the artists to appear on The BlackList, a part of the special anniversary release of Metallica the Black Album. The Blacklist features over 50 artists from around the world interpreting tracks from this iconic album. Spanning multiple genres and generations, The Blacklist is an incredible addition to what already is a jam packed celebration of The Black Album.

This entire monster collection will be available on September 10th with pre-orders going on right now.
