Maintaining an ideal weight is an ongoing struggle for many. The most difficult part to committing to dieting and exercising is usually finding the motivation to do it. However, what if that motivation came from your favorite band? Jeremi Schlader, known as ‘Big J’ on Boise, ID radio station 100.3 FM The X, weighs 424 pounds and he’s looking to find a way to shed off some weight. Schlader decided to make a video to launch a brand new weight loss plan called #MetallicaDiet. This particular diet is for him to lose at least 100lbs by November 28th, which is when Metallica plays at Boise’s Taco Bell Arena. If Big J reaches his goal, he will have the chance to interview the entire band.
