Metallica will perform a rare club show on Thursday, August 28 at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, Long Island, to celebrate the launch of Maximum Metallica, a new SiriusXM channel dedicated to the band. The channel will officially go live the next day, August 29, on Channel 42 and the SiriusXM app. Drummer Lars Ulrich announced the exclusive performance during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show earlier this morning (6th). A recording of the concert will air on Maximum Metallica on Monday, September 1, at 12 PM ET.
