On Monday, Metallica kicked off their week long residency on “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson” with “Hit the Lights.” On Tuesday night the band performed, “Fuel,” from their 1997 album, Reload.

During their interview on Monday, Lars Ulrich affirmed their love for touring, even if it’s in shorter bursts these days:

“We still get a kick out of it. We do it much shorter increments now, we kind of have a two week rule in our band. We do the two week grind and then we roll home, and it also sort of prevents you from falling off the deep end, so it serves multiple purposes.”

The band is celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Some Kind of Monster, so it’s being re-released on Blu-Ray for the first time, and it comes out November 24, 2014. Catch Metallica again tonight on CBS for another performance on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” starting at 12:37 AM EST.
