Metallica to play Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Wednesday

Posted by on December 12, 2016

It took a while for Metallica to embrace late night TV, but they’ve jumped in with both feet in recent years. A few years back they appeared on the now-defunct The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson for a weeklong residency. And with Hardwired… To Self Destruct, they appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon not once but twice, playing “Moth Into Flame” and then appearing with The Roots to play “Enter Sandman” on classroom instruments. They’re not done yet, however, as Wednesday, they’ll be playing Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday. The good news is, you can be there! From their website

As you may have heard, we’re off to Los Angeles next week for some more shenanigans and while we’re there we’ve been invited to shut down a few streets and throw a massive block party with Jimmy Kimmel Live! Jimmy has been kind enough to ask us to stop by, chat and play a few songs outside of the studio on Wednesday, December 14th. We want you to join us!

If you’ll be in the Los Angeles area next week, there are three ways to win. Fifth Members should click here to enter to win your shot at two tickets. Tune into your favorite local radio station and listen for chances to snag some tickets through them. Finally, head over to 1iota.com for info about free tickets.

If you can’t be there, no sweat… tune in that night as Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35pm CT on ABC.

It’s gotta  be murder to navigate the streets of L.A. today, what with an X-Wing stuck in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard and Metallica stopping traffic as well.
