The professionally filmed video of Metallica’s live performance of “Dirty Window” in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from August 13 is now available. These legends have been running strong with their M72 world tour up until their fifth North American stop when the second of the two-night, no repeat weekend concert was postponed. Phoenix initially hit a hiccup when two songs were unexpectedly cut from the setlist during the first show on September 1. It became apparent that James Hetfield struggled with his vocals and had asked the crowd to sing along extensively. Metallica later confirmed Papa Het had tested positive for COVID-19, resulting in rescheduling the second Phoenix show to September 9 at State Farm Stadium. Suicidal Tendencies will replace Ice Nine Kills for the rescheduled show, with Five Finger Death Punch remaining as direct support.

Metallica’s recent SoFi Stadium performance in Los Angeles not only saw a canine sneak into the venue but also drew nearly 80,000 human fans, setting a record for the venue. Fans purchased over 156,000 tickets for the two-concert.
