Despite their legacy, Metallica continue to make new waves during their M72 World Tour. The North American portion kicked off earlier this month as the 2023 batch will ultimately conclude in November. Metal Insider have been tracking highlights throughout the trek, including shared pro-shot videos, breaking attendance records, and more. The latest update would make many pet owners admire such a spectacle as a canine was found seated during one of their LA shows at Sofi Stadium. Metallica shared the breakin, assuring no paws have been harmed during its attendance:
“You might have heard we had a four-legged fan join us for #M72LA! Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to SoFi Stadium and made her way to the gig all by herself. After a full night taking in the show with her #MetallicaFamily, Storm was safely reunited with her actual family the next day. She had a great time listening to her favorite songs, including “Barx Æterna,” “Master of Puppies,” and “The Mailman That Never Comes. And in case you were wondering, no. You definitely shouldn’t bring your furry friends to the #M72 World Tour. But this dog sure did have her day…”
While we’d love to bring our furry companions to a show, Metal Insider’s Paws, Pets, and Metal feature reminds us that bringing pets on the road isn’t exactly the best place for them.
