Tonight is a night of surprises. First Ozzy Osbourne with “Straight To Hell,” and now, Marilyn Manson. Was this a coincidence or did the two plan this to promote Ozzy’s rescheduled North American tour? Regardless, there’s always something exciting hearing Manson turning a cover song into his own, which we’ve heard from tracks “Sweet Dreams,” and “Tainted Love.” With that being said, Manson surprised us with a brand new single covering The Doors’ classic song “The End.” The below visuals was created by Zev Deans and the original watercolor was made by Manson himself.

Based on previous reports, Manson will be starring in CBS All Access’ 10-part adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand, which is supposed to premiere sometime in 2020. Manson mentioned in an interview with Revolver that he would have an undisclosed role in the series and he’s also teamed up with Shooter Jennings to cover The Doors’ “The End,” which will be used for the upcoming mini series. It looks like we will see a lot of Manson next year as he will have a role in Season 3 of the Starz series American Gods as well as having an appearance on the HBO series The New Pope. Additionally, the Shock Rocker will most likely have brand new album out in the near future.
