Yesterday, dates leaked for a tour from The Faceless, as the band started to tease new music. After we ran the story, which was at the time a rumor, the band officially confirmed the tour, which also includes After the Burial, Rings of Saturn and Toothgrinder. Tickets are on sale today for the monthlong tour. It turns out that was just the tip of the iceberg, though. They’ve also released a new song, “The Spiraling Void,” from their long-in-the-works album In Becoming A Ghost. And while the band’s essentially was only guitarist Michael Keene as of a year ago, the new incarnation of the band includes some old faces: vocalist Derek “Demon Carcass” Rydquist has returned. He’d left the band back in 2011 after a five-year run.He’s joined by previously-announced former bassist Brandon Griffin, who was an original member of the band. The new song is proggy, technical, and you should listen to it right now.
