Harm’s Way are set to unleash their forthcoming album, Common Suffering, on September 29 via Metal Blade Records. Known for their unrelenting ferocity, the group continues to find innovative ways to surprise their listeners with moments of intricate songwriting that blend light and shade, creating one anticipated merciless record. In case you missed it, the band has shared a Finn O’Connell-directed video for their latest single, “Undertow,” which features haunting vocals of Kristina Esfandiari (King Woman), adding a new dimension to Harm’s Way’s sound. The band will be taking their new album on the road next month for their North American trek, which you can check out the tour dates here.
The band commented:
“‘Undertow’ looks at the cycle of life and death, and one’s process of coming to a space of acceptance with the latter. While we can argue that self-preservation is inherently human, finding peace in death and dying brings us that much closer to humility and our shared humanity.”
