While William Sadler will return to play his role as Death and Amy Stoch’s return as Missy (Bill’s stepmom). There will be quite a few new faces as the cast includes Samara Weaving (Ready or Not, The Babysitter) as Bill’s daughter – Brigette, Lundy-Paine (Atypical, Downsizing) as Ted’s child. Other new characters include Jillian Bell (22 Jump Street) as Dr. Taylor Wood, comedian Kristen Schaal (Bob’s Burgers) as Kelly, Jayma Mays (Glee) as Princess Joanna, Saturday Night Live’s Beck Bennett as Ted’s younger brother, Deacon, and Kid Cudi.

The synopsis reads:

“The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William ‘Bill’ S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it.
