Failure’s The Heart is A Monster was one of the surprise albums of 2015. Not only because the band got back together and made new music after almost two decades, but because it was as good as it was. Now headed back on the road as a four-piece with Queens of the Stone Age guitarist (and original member) Troy van Leeuwen starting tomorrow, the band have released a video for “Counterfeit Sky,” which premiered on Pitchfork yesterday. The video takes the band’s space theme and runs with it, taking clips from director Kevin Margo’s 2012 film Grounded, in which, as Pitchfork says “two men plummet from space towards a desertlike terrain after their vessel explodes. Confusion, grief, and supernatural encounters ensue.” We’re in. Check out the tour dates below:
