Back in July, Gone is Gone, a supergroup featuring Mastodon’s Troy Sanders, Queens of the Stone Age’s Troy Van Leeuwen, At The Drive In’s Tony Hajjar and Mike Zarin, released their debut EP. The six-song EP kind of came and went without all that much fanfare, but it was a promising debut. The band have wasted no time in following up the EP, however, as last night’s ‘Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter’ on BBC Radio 1 saw the debut of a song from the band’s forthcoming full length. “Sentient” is a moody, atmospheric track taken from the band’s upcoming Echolocation. It looks like it’s going to be one of the first releases of 2017, being released on January 6th.
