Failure, if you haven’t realized, is one of our favorite ’90s bands that managed to not only reunite and release an album in 2015, but to reunite and release a really good album in 2015. The Heart is a Monster. They’ve been touring  behind the album, as you might have seen yesterday, and their live sound is the stuff audio engineers dream of. The band have just announced another round of tours, but this time, they’ll have a guest along: former member Troy Van Leeuwen. This will extend the lineup to four piece. If Van Leeuwen’s name seems familiar, that’s because since the band’s first breakup in the mid’90s, he’s gone on to play guitar for A Perfect Circle, and more recently, Queens of the Stone Age, which he’s a full time member of.

The band’s touring mates are really solid as well. Fellow long-defunct alt-rock band Hum will continue on for some of the dates, and will be joined by Torche. A second round of dates includes …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead and Local H. Failure will also be playing CMJ as part of the FLOODfest at Brooklyn Bown. Here are the tour dates:
