Since they announce their return as a full-time band, Despised Icon have been pushing their upcoming album titled Beast, which will be released on July 22nd via Nuclear Blast. After the announcement of their European tour, they released a teaser for what we can expect from Beast, but now, it’s time to get some actual new music from them.
“Beast” is the first single off the new record and you can feel the same vibe we’ve known and missed Despised Icon for. The band commented about the release of the music video:
“The time has come. Here it is, our first single in seven years.”
“We’re overwhelmed by the amount of support we’ve been getting these past few months.”
“Expect to hear more new music in the coming weeks.”
The album was produced and engineered by former guitarist Yannick St-Amand (Beneath the Massacre, Neuraxis) and mixed/mastered by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Exodus, Nevermore).
