Canadian death metal giants Cryptopsy have dropped a NSFW video for their latest single, “Malicious Needs.” The track is taken from their upcoming album, An Insatiable Violence, scheduled to arrive on June 20 via Season of Mist. The track dives into dystopian horror, following a twisted tale of digital obsession and power dynamics gone wrong. Directed by Gornoss, the video brings the band’s dark vision to life in a narrative that complements the fresh track. An Insatiable Violence explores themes of pain and compulsion, inspired by a surreal concept of self-inflicted torment. Cryptopsy are currently touring across Europe supporting Decapitated, along with Warbringer and Carnation.
