Swedish modern metal giants Amaranthe have taken their music to new heights, or rather, to outer space, with the release of their latest single, “Insatiable.” This cosmic anthem showcases the band’s versatility and commitment to consistently expanding their boundaries by delivering creative musical experiments. “Insatiable” is the second single from Amaranthe’s new album, The Catalyst, scheduled for release on February 23rd, 2024, via Nuclear Blast Records. The single “Insatiable” is accompanied by a music video, further enhancing the extraterrestrial theme of the song.

The Catalyst marks a significant conceptual shift for Amaranthe, diving deeper into themes of transformation and revelation than their prior efforts. Guitarist Olof Mörck has expressed the album embraces a more theatrical and symphonic approach, pushing boundaries to create a more adventurous sound. After fifteen years of dedicated work, The Catalyst signifies a culmination of Amaranthe’s musical journey, promising an exhilarating and original experience for their listeners as they continue to evolve. With “Insatiable” as a taste of what’s to come, Amaranthe sets the stage for a brand new chapter in their storied history.

Olof Mörck expressed:

“As the release of “The Catalyst” draws ever nearer, we are now very proud and super excited to unveil the second single from the album – “Insatiable”! Contrasts collide like a cataclysm in this ultra-heavy, yet outstandingly catchy groove-monster, which bears all the hallmarks of a classic AMARANTHE hit, and then some! We once again teamed up with long-time collaborator and director extraordinaire Patric Ullaeus, for an all-out, take-no-prisoners video to go along with the song. Beyond that, this is a song you will NEED to hear live on our upcoming tour with our friends in DRAGONFORCE in the USA, so remember to practice those lyrics! And see you all soon!”
