Another week has passed and we’ve heard and seen a few awesome videos already including Motionless In White’s “Loud (Fuck It),” Life of Agony’s “A Place Where There’s No More Pain,” John Frum’s “Presage of Emptiness,” and the new Sólstafir tune “Ísafold.” With that said, here are this week’s best videos.
5) In Flames – “Here Until Forever”
Today Swedish metallers In Flames released the lyric video for “Here Until Forever,” taken from their latest Battles.
4) Unearthly Trance – “Into The Spiral”
NYC doom trio unveiled a dreamlike video for “Into The Spiral” taken from the new album Stalking the Ghost. It was directed by Jimmy Hubbard and it sucks you into an abstract world.
3) Havok – “Intention To Deceive”
Havok’s Conformicide will release on March 10 via Century Media. Earlier this week the band premiered the new video for the song “Intention To Deceive” off of their forthcoming album. The video was directed by Evan Mann for Otherworldly Productions and it demonstrates corruption in the government and mainstream media.
2) Evocation – “Condemned to the Grave”
Next week on March 10, Swedish death metallers will release The Shadow Archetype via Metal Blade. To celebrate the release, the band dropped a new music video for the new song “Condemned to the Grave.”
Evocation guitarist commented:
“The video for ‘Condemned To The Grave’ was shot with Greenworks Television on the 4th of February at a deserted house in the small village of Golingstorp, Sweden. The deserted house was actually something that we found through a friend who specialized in photographing deserted buildings. According to villagers the house has been deserted for at least 30 years. It’s a beautiful house and the ageing has perhaps added even more character to the house. The day of the video shoot was freezing… But it added a special eerie feeling since there is a small layer of snow in the landscape, and on many of the shots with the actors you can see their breaths in the air. The end result became quite spectacular (not for the weak hearted I might add…), and we all hope you enjoy the video for ‘Condemned To The Grave’!”
1) Night Demon – “Welcome To The Night”
The California metal outfit Night Demon recently announced the release date for their upcoming sophomore album Darkness Remains out April 21st. Today, they unleashed the first offering with a brand new music video for the track “Welcome to the Night.”
