Alice in Chains released Rainier Fog this past August, which marked the group’s first album in five years. Since the record arrived, the group have shared a few music videos that included cryptic footage from an unknown project titled Black Antenna. Today (13th), the band has revealed their latest effort will be turned into a full-length movie titled, Black Antenna. The film was produced and directed by Adam Mason, which is going to be a 90 minute sci-fi flick that will be rolled out in ten episodic segments. The min-episodes will air sometime after the new year as each episode will feature a different song from their new LP.

Drummer Sean Kinney commented:

“We’ve always toyed around with the idea of creating videos for every song on one of our albums. So not only did we do it for Rainier Fog, it got totally out of hand, and now we made a whole goddamn movie. Everything that will be seen in the videos will be footage from Black Antenna to preface the complete film’s release.”
