When word broke last week that Van Halen was signing with Interscope Records after having been with Warner Bros. for their entire 34-year career, some chalked it up to rumors. Lord knows, there’s been quite a few of them lately. Even after The Hollywood Reporter claimed that a deal was in the can, many were still skeptical. Well, it looks like Van Halen’s deal with Interscope is a sure thing.

Though an official announcement has still yet to be made, a picture of Van Halen with Interscope/Universal execs together at an undisclosed venue in L.A. has been floating around the web. In the picture (as seen above, from left to right) with the members of Van Halen is Jimmy Iovine (Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records), Irving Azoff (Executive Chairman of Live Nation Entertainment/ Chairman and CEO of the Front Line Management Group), Steve Berman (Vice Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records) and Jim Urie (President and CEO of UMG Distribution). Guess we won’t have to wait till their “surprise” appearance at the Grammy Nominations Concert Live show on November 30 to know who at least will be releasing the new Van Halen album.
