Heavy Montreal is definitely going above and beyond when it comes to booking bands for the festival. Today, they unveiled the daily lineup for the Festival, in addition to adding a handful of new bands, lining up some rare and unprecedented appearances. Abbath will be playing their first-ever show, and Neurosis, who play sporadically and infrequent live shows, will be playing as well. They join a lineup that includes more additions, including Extreme, Devin Townsend Project, Sanctuary, Vail of Maya, After the Burial, Cattle Decapitation and more.
These bands join a lineup headlined by Korn, Faith No More, Slipknot, Mastodon, Lamb of God and more. The Festival, taking place from August 7-9, now has single day passes for $77 for the next 77 hours. If you’re in Canada, you should probably go.
