Earlier in the week it came out that Ticketmaster had lost the class action lawsuit against them regarding the service fees that they have been tacking onto the price of tickets for the last twenty years. As part of that settlement, Ticketmaster agreed to give out a whole mess of credits on the future purchases of “all consumers who transacted on Ticketmaster.com from 1999-2013,” as well as $5 vouchers for those who used the UPS delivery on tickets and vouchers for free tickets to future shows. Since that announcement however, there had been no word on which shows they could actually be used towards – until today. There are currently 408 shows listed with more being added to the list periodically. It even turns out that there are some really good metal shows actually on that list! Seriously, like Black Sabbath final tour good. Of those available, here are some of the heavier ones included:
- Black Sabbath: The End Tour
- Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Alter Bridge, and Saint Asonia
- Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, and Of Mice and Men
- Korn and Rob Zombie
- Prophets of Rage
- Def Leppard
- Heart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Cheap Trick
- Steely Dan
