Just a few months after vocalist Uta Plotkin parted ways with Witch Mountain, the band has already found their new singer; Kayla Dixon.
The 19 year-old theater actor auditioned via video, and then she got the gig a week later.
Said Dixon in an interview with Noisey,
“I’m loving the songs, because I feel like there are so many performance opportunities because the lyrics are very rich. I’m having fun playing with my delivery of the songs.”
The new line-up for the Portland, OR masters-of-doom will embark upon a North American tour in support of Yob in March, along with Enslaved.
