Veil of Maya rise again with “Phoenix,” new singer

Posted by on January 1, 2015

We knew Veil of Maya had something in store for January 1st, 2015, and it turns out it was a new song and the announcement of their new vocalist, Lukas Magyar from the band Arms of Empire. Magyar fills the vocalist position from late September of last year, when the band parted ways with Brandon Butler.

This new song, “Phoenix,” is the first new material since the 2012 release of ‘Eclipse.’ The vocals were produced by Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo, but we’re still waiting on an official release date (and title) from Sumerian Records.

Veil of Maya will be hitting the road for most of January with Upon A Burning Body, Volumes, Gideon, and The Last Ten Seconds of Life.
