Is Veil of Maya dropping an album on New Years Day?

Posted by on December 18, 2014

Earlier today, Veil of Maya released a video on YouTube via their Facebook page. The 42-second clip doesn’t feature any vocals, but the title of the video and a title screen at the end of it says “1.1.15,” along with the hashtag #veilhasrisen. While there’s no official confirmation that they’ll be doing anything more than releasing the rest of that song on NEw Year’s Day, it could be a whole album. After all, the band will be starting the “Slow Your Trll and Know Your Role” tour with Upon A Burning Body, Volumes, Gideon and The Last Ten Seconds of Life in early January. You’ll have to wait until then to find out, but until then, you’ve got nearly 45 seconds of new Veil of Maya music. The band still haven’t said who their new vocalist is, but Spencer Sotelo from Periphery worked on producing the vocals for the album for whoever it was.
