Poland’s death/thrash titans Vader have announced their return to North America in nearly three years! The group will be celebrating three album anniversaries including De Profundis, Litany, and The Art of War as well as songs from their new EP, Thy Messenger, and potentially introducing fresh material from their upcoming record. California death metal masters Abysmal Dawn and Italy’s brutal death giants Hideous Divinity will join in on the trek, which kicks off on February 4th in San Diego, CA.

Hideous Divinity will be bringing their new record Simulacrum, which arrived on November 8th via Century Media Records. Meanwhile, Abysmal Dawn has announced they completed work on their overall fifth studio album, which also marks their Season of Mist debut. The follow-up to 2014’s Obsolescence was mixed by vocalist/guitarist Charles Elliot and produced and recorded by Elliot and Mike Bear at Tastemaker Audio as the drums were tracked by John Haddad at Trench Studios. The upcoming record was mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios.

Abysmal Dawn commented on their upcoming effort:

“We’re officially done with album number 5! It’s been quite some time since we released any new music, and we feel we have something special on our hands. It took a lot of time, effort, and seeing through some trying times to get to this moment. We’re very proud of the outcome and think fans will agree it was worth the wait. Musically we’re pushing our limits more than ever, while still maintaining what people love about Abysmal Dawn. Now we take a quick breath before getting back once again to spreading our brand of misanthropic extreme metal across the globe. See you on the road in 2020!”

Vader expressed their excitement on their return to North America:

“VADERMANIAX in North America! I am so excited to inform you all about our come back to the USA and Canada after almost three years. 2020 is very special for VADER and that’s why we are so proud to start on your continent. In cooperation with Continental Concerts, Massive Music and Nuclear Blast, we will visit 23 cities in February and we will indeed bring madness for you. Three albums have anniversaries and we’ll focus on those: De Profundis – 25 years; Litany – 20 years and The Art of War – 15 years. We will definitely play some tunes from our last record Thy Messenger and something real fresh from VADER’s upcoming album. ARE YOU READY?!”
