Earlier this year, the Chicago metal outfit Starkill embarked their first headlining tour in North America. It gave them a chance to perform older tunes mixed with songs from their recent album 2016’s Shadow Sleep via Prosthetic Records. Since then, the group have been keeping themselves busy writing new tunes and recruiting vocalist Sarah Lynn Collier full-time. She is no stranger to the band since her voice is heard on their new album. The band shared a message alongside an intro video welcoming Collier to the group. They aim to introduce her to fans across North America as well as sharing a brand new song they have written for a not-yet-to-be-released fourth album.

“We’re excited to announce the first leg of our “Shadow Over North America Tour”!

We’re very glad to be hitting some cities we haven’t seen in some time, and also excited to announce that this tour marks the induction of Sarah Lynn Collier, our studio vocalist for Shadow Sleep, as a full-time member of the band.

We have a very special setlist for this tour, and will also be playing a brand new, never-before-heard song from our eventual upcoming fourth album.

More dates WILL be announced in the coming days. In the meantime, spread the word!

We can’t wait to be out there headbanging with you!”
