Ah Ozzfest 1999, things were so much simpler then. A little-known band called Slipknot opened the second stage, Black Sabbath played with Ozzy singing and the Deftones played with Chi Cheng on bass. Also, Slayer and Rob Zombie were on the tour. Well, history will be repeating itself this Summer, as Slayer and Zombie will team up for a 12 date North American and Canadian tour. To sweeten up the deal, Exodus will be opening. So one of the big 4 along with a band that would arguably be in the big 8 will be playing together. Zombie wouldn’t even be in the big 12, but he still puts on an entertaining show. Check out the dates below:
