Chicago’s post-metal instrumental giants Russian Circles have announced their new album, Blood Year, will be released on August 2nd via Sargent House. This marks the group’s overall seventh full-length effort as they teamed up with Kurt Ballou to record the follow-up to 2016’s Guidance but this time around, they tracked it in Chicago at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio.
Today (21st), the band has also dropped the first single from Blood Year with the new song “Arluck”

Russian Circles will embark on a North American tour this September through November. FACS and Windhand will appear on select dates of the trek.
