Metallica are expanding their M72 tour by having announced two major shows set for December 2025. The legends will perform for the first time ever in Bahrain at Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre on December 3, followed by a headlining set during the after-race concerts for the 2025 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 6 at Yas Island.
Tickets for the Bahrain show are available at this location, Abu Dhabi show can be found here. This will mark Metallica’s third performance in Abu Dhabi, having last played there in 2013.
Meanwhile, guitarist Kirk Hammett recently expressed interest in playing a future show at the Las Vegas Sphere. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Hammett responded on the possibility of performing at the Sphere, stating:
“Oh, heck, yeah! That’s a great example of how venues are changing. That’s using modern technology to the fullest, to really up the levels of production and entertainment, connected to A.I. and making it a crazy experience.”
