Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has announced The Collection: Live, a series of intimate events celebrating his new coffee table book, The Collection: Kirk Hammett. Presented by Gibson Publishing, the book showcases Hammett’s iconic guitar collection, complete with stories, rare photos by Ross Halfin, and interviews with Gibson’s Mark Agnesi and Chris Vinnicombe. The 400-page hardcover is available now via this location.
Hammett will join Mark Agnesi for live discussions at select venues across North America, with tickets on sale Friday (11) at 10 AM local time. Stops include Toronto (Apr 25), Nashville (May 2), Columbus (May 10), Philadelphia (May 24), Tampa (June 7), and Denver (June 28).
The appearances also tie into Metallica’s expanded 2025 M72 Takeover events throughout their North American Tour 2025 cycle, which include a special screening of their latest documentary, Metallica Saved My Life, blood drives, charity volunteering, and exclusive merch.
