The new Kowloon Walled City album Grievances will be coming out October 9th on Neurot Recordings, and Fight Amp’s latest, Constantly Off, came out this past June. So with fresh music from both bands, it seems like a 7-date November tour of the West Coast sounds like a great idea.

These shows will be the first for new Kowloon Walled City drummer Julia Lancer, who also plays in The New Trust. “She is a fucking monster” said the band via Facebook, “and we are super amped to have her in the band.” Kowloon also recently released “Backlit” earlier this month on NPR, the first single from the Grievances.

Fight Amp have had a busy summer of touring, even putting out a music video for “Ex Everything” while they were out with KEN Mode this past June.

If you’re going to be headed to the tour kickoff, Santa Ana’s Day of the Shred fest, which will also include Torche, John Garcia, Crowbar, and many more, you can find an affordable hotel near the area via cheaphotels.org.
