killthrax

While Anthrax impressed a room full of attendees last night at the Revolver Music Awards with a quick four-song set, there’s probably a lot of people that might want to see them play a fuller set. They’ll get that opportunity next year, as Anthrax and Killswitch Engage team up for a Spring co-headlining run that will include The Devil Wears Prada opening. Killswitch and Anthrax will be rotating the closing slot over the course of the tour, which kicks off in Montclair, NJ on March 29th.

We asked Killswitch singer Jesse Leach for his thoughts on the upcoming tour last night at the awards. “Super stoked on the tour,” he told us. “I’ve been a fan of them since I was a young teenager. It’s kind of surreal. We’ve played shows with them here and there and buddied down with those guys and hung, but we’re all really stoked for this tour. It’s going to be awesome.”

Scott Ian also offered his thoughts via a press release:

“Anthrax and Killswitch — KillThrax!  Holy crap! I am so excited about these upcoming shows with our old friends Killswitch Engage. Get out your pit pants and start stretching now for all the glorious action and fun!”
