If you keep wondering how much your favorite bands make when they head out on the road, Billboard‘s Boxscore released their latest batch of earnings and attendance from many artists, and we’ve summarized them here for you.

We are already halfway through January already, but there are still numbers published from the last few months of 2015 for us to look at. While we’re not going to see big numbers like before, some of these bands managed to sell out their shows, which will give them the opportunity to get bigger venues for more capacity or charge more tickets because they have the market for it.  These are the bands who you should sue if they punch you in the face during a show:

Of course, most of the bands at the top were successful and sold out their shows due to their popularity but it’s still a notable thing to do considering the holiday season. What’s also interesting to point out is the last few bands listed that weren’t able to sell out. Huntington, NY seems to be very picky about the bands they want to support that even popular bands like Machine Head, Skinny Puppy or Scott Weiland weren’t able to sell more than half of the venues capacity. That’s just part of the business.

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
