If you keep wondering how much your favorite bands make when they head out on the road, Billboard‘s Boxscore released their latest batch of earnings and attendance from many artists, and we’ve summarized them here for you.
This week is pretty mellow regarding the earnings and attendance of bands you may care about, but we still bring you some high profile bands to give you a good perspective on what monetary success really means in the music industry. Also, we included the earnings for the last show of The Artist Formerly Known As Prince because, while he didn’t play the heaviest music in the world, the man was pretty damn metal on its own way. There’s also numbers for Guns N’ Roses first show in Las Vegas just to give you an idea of why the “reunion” was such a big deal. Here are the bands that can pay their rent on time:

Look at those Muse numbers! Despite almost crashing and killing their audience with their malfunctioning drones, they did pretty damn good during the residency in O2 in London. Now, here’s the deal with those Prince numbers: while they’re not as big as Guns N’ Roses, who had to market their shows as a reunion to get the hype going, Prince was able to pull $1.8M on his own with only 9k people. He never stopped playing and had been consistently performing whenever he can, showing the true power of a legend. Those who went to that Atlanta show must feel really lucky for witnessing the final performance of an icon.
