The latest incarnation of Revolver’s Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock tour has been announced, and this year, it’s got a decidedly European twist to it. Epica and Eluveitie will be co-headlining, along with The Agonist as support. Epica’s symphonic metal meshes nicely with Eluveitie’s folky, melodic death metal, and The Agonist are easily the heaviest of the three bands, but it’s generally a pretty diverse bill. While some naysayers will, of course, take issue with the fact that the tour is capitalizing on the fact that the tour is named after “hottest chicks” and not “talented musicians,” it can’t be argued that this isn’t a solid lineup that’s good regardless of what the tour name is.
