Clutch gave us a scare when they had to postpone tour dates because frontman Neil Fallon needed surgery. Luckily the reason for surgery was not life-threatening and had to do with Fallon’s back. A diagnosis of ”cervical spinal stenosis and two herniated discs” however required immediate attention and lengthy recovery time, but Fallon has written some positive Tweets to fans following the procedure that he says ” went well.”
Following the surgery, he seemed in good spirits.
Thanks for so many well wishes and I will see you all down the road.

Surgery went well. Back at home. Morphine’s worn off. Last tweet…not so much haha hehe now.

Why, yes! Yes it does! The chocolate pudding does go well with the morphine!

And even ahead of it, Fallon was optimistic.
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I have every confidence that this will work out just fine. My surgeon gets great reviews on Yelp!
