In a recent interview on the Eddie Trunk Podcast, drummer Chris Adler of Lamb of God and Megadeth talked about being in two pretty big bands, and the logistics involved. He also hints at the possibility of bringing the upcoming European tour with both bands stateside!
Said Adler on the bringing that tour to the US:
“We are joining forces across the whole U.K. Actually, we’re doing Wenbley Arena over there together, and I’m gonna do double duty on those. And there is talk of having us do a North American run together early next year, so I’d be doing it every night. I’m carb-loading before the show.”
Okay, so it’s just “talk,” but we’ve got our fingers crossed. Adler had missed some Megadeth shows recently, with drum tech Tony Laureano filled in. When the two bands meet up again November Adler will be pulling double duty, but Megadeth will be without at least one guitar tech, as Dave Mustaine just publicly fired him over technical difficulties at a recent show in Australia.
