Georgia’s sludge trio, Black Tusk, are back at it and announced the dates for their upcoming headlining tour across the US this fall and will be joined by Wrong and Lazer/Wulf on the road. This will be their first full-blown headlining tour in North America since the loss of bassist and founding member Jonathan Athon late last year. The band was part of Black Labels Society European tour earlier this year with Former Kylesa and current Niche bassist Corey Barhorst filling in Athon’s position during the journey.
The band has been working on their follow-up album to their 2011 Set The Dial and expect to release it at some point next year. The new album will have Athon’s last recording before his passing. Check out the dates for the tour below and be sure to catch them on stage:
