Our homies at Metal Sucks pointed out something that’s potentially pretty awesome. Australian prog-metallers Karnivool may be touring with The Contortionist. A reader pointed out that Trees in Dallas, TX is promoting April 17th as a show with The Contortionist, With Our Arms to the Sun and Moving Atlas.
There hasn’t been any official announcement from the band yet, but if you visit their Facebook page, you’ll find a story that makes up for the lack of confirmation of a US tour. The band was touring India, and their show had a three-hour delay. Why, you ask? Well, the typical, a monkey stole a drink climbed up a lighting truss and dropped it all over the backline, causing a guitar amp to blow!
Hopefully that’s the only delay they have to undergo, and they’ll be announcing the tour soon. We’ll certainly excitedly report the dates if and when any of them are confirmed.
