Honorable Mention: Them Crooked Vultures – February 6, 2010
Dave Grohl is no stronger to SNL. He’s performed with his own bands (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) and even as a session player for some notable names (Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty). But it was especially cool to see Grohl perform with Josh Homme and John Paul Jones on national TV. Grohl even made his way into possibly the best sketch of that night, leading many to ask: why hasn’t Grohl hosted SNL yet?!
