We are saddened to report, All That Remains founding member/guitarist Oli Herbert has passed away. The band confirmed the news on Facebook. There are no details on how he died. However, the group and his family ask to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
The band issued the following statement:
“We were devastated to learn that Oli Herbert, our friend, guitar player, and founding member of All That Remains, has passed away.
Oli was an incredibly talented guitarist and songwriter who defined Rock and Metal from the Northeast. His impact on the genres and our lives will continue indefinitely.
No further details are available at this time. The band and family request that you please respect their privacy and remember Oli by celebrating the great music he made.”
All That Remains recently revealed details on their new album Victim of the New Disease, which is originally scheduled to arrive next month on November 9th. Hopefully, we can listen to their new record as a celebration on Herbert’s life and music career.
We send our condolences to Herbert’s bandmates, friends and family during this difficult time.
