Filming for the 10th season of VH1 Classic’s That Metal Show kicked off this past week. This season features appearances from Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, Iron Maiden’s Adrian Smith, Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister, and many others. However, thanks to a little tweet, Disturbed’s David Draiman has us buzzing about his guest spot.

Shortly after filming his interview on That Metal Show today, the Disturbed frontman tweeted the following:

“MAY 26TH, MY EPISODE ON ‘THAT METAL SHOW’ AIRS. TWO MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THE SHOW. BE SURE TO TUNE IN.”

What two “major announcements” could Draiman have made on That Metal Show? Well, the frontman may have let a few details leak himself. Later in the day, in response to getting ask what he’s been doing as of late, Draiman tweeted:

“WORKING ON A NEW PROJECT, WRITING MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY, ABOUT A HUNDRED OTHER THINGS”

For all we know, he could have announced something completely different during his That Metal Show appearance. But it’s looking more likely that at least one of the announcements involved a new project. With that said, we’d also bet that neither of his announcements involved Disturbed. Let’s remember, Draiman seemed to be the most vocal about wanting the band go on a hiatus. We’d imagine that Draiman would want to pursue other musical endeavors, like bassist John Moyer has recently with Adrenaline Mob, before returning to Disturbed. That’s not to say that the band won’t return eventually, but we’d be surprised if they did this soon.

Regardless, we’ll find out what the frontman has up his sleeve soon enough, either through leaks online or when his episode of That Metal Show (also featuring Adrenaline Mob’s Russell Allen and Mike Orlando) airs on May 26 on VH1 Classic. The full guest lineup and air dates for That Metal Show’s 10th season can also be seen online.
