Bands like Bloodywood make me question the sanity of anyone who doesn’t love metal.

By the wise hand of Fearless Records, coming out of the ancient superior land of India with its undefeatable, beautiful glitter ball of magic in arts throughout history, is an explosion in the darkness of metal. By the hand of these clinically above-average guys, they want to make you feel all the nostalgia of mom’s leftovers after a long day of school and blasting Slipknot and Eiffel 65 between Dragon Ball Z reruns. Everything about their recently dropped video, “Tadka,” truly evoked the brightest nostalgia beam for the inner dragon in my brain.

Whatever it takes to make you feel something, I suggest you do it and put things in your mind that support so much of your inner peace. I feel like this band has created a spirit of authenticity with the same sort of addictive humor we see in bands like Nekrogoblikon, The Hu, and Municipal Waste, just to name an obvious few. We are addicted to their incredible style, and their artistic pinpoints on what matters but we love their humor the most.

My top three tracks from the album are obviously “Tadka,” which makes me want to eat with way more understanding. The ballad of great food by far. Then, “Kismat,” which jets the entire album to a high mountain experience. Lastly, the title track, “Nu Delhi” will absolutely take you over.

There is a heavy and very much coordinated tapestry of hip-hop that is beyond its time with influence from Nu Delhi, conscious hip-hop artist Raoul Kerr, it will really pull hard between euphoric metalcore waves. This album is too good not to own on vinyl, and they have three that are gloriously done. You can get them here.

Bloodywood dropped this precious monument of our spiritual connection to the world that is truly India on March 21st. The group will be gracing us with their immaculate presence in Japan in May:

They can be seen in the United States in June when they support the amazing BabyMetal, alongside Black Veil Brides and Jinjer:

Bloodywood, Nu Delhi, can be ordered at this location.
