GNR VegasEver since confirming an appearance at Coachella, fans and critics have been wondering what else Guns N’ Roses have planned for the rest of the year. There are still a lot of questions to be answered, but now we know that at least rumors about the band playing Las Vegas’ new T-Mobile Arena are indeed true.

Guns N’ Roses have announced that they’ll be playing two shows at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 8 and 9. Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, January 23, while a pre-sale for fan club members starts Tuesday, January 19 at 10am PST/1pm EST. While the ticket prices were not revealed at the time of this posting, it’s safe to assume that it’ll cost a pretty penny if previous rumors turn out true [UPDATE: tickets appear to be ranging $350-$79.50 per ticket].

Like Coachella, these shows will also feature newly returned Slash and Duff McKagan (as confirmed by a video promoting the shows and AXS.com’s ticket page). It makes sense that they might want to do a few warm up shows prior to playing such a big festival. It still remains unclear, though, who else will be playing in Guns N’ Roses during these shows (though our bet is still on Chinese Democracy-era members Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman rounding out the lineup, sorry Steven Adler). It also remains unclear as to what will happen after Coachella. These Vegas shows seem to indicate that a full tour is imminent, but it still might be a while till anything is announced. One thing GN’R seems to be good at, though, is making us keep guessing.
