The above headline is actually a little misleading, as present day Guns N’ Roses consists of little more than Axl Rose and whoever he has playing with him these days. However, Guns N’ Roses will be setting up shop at The Joint at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, much like Mötley Crüe did earlier this year. The “Appetite for Democracy” tour will is coinciding with the 25th anniversary of their landmark album, Appetite For Destruction and the fourth anniversary of their not-so-landmark Chinese Democracy.

Guns N’ Roses most recently performed at The Joint for two shows this past New Year’s Eve. Immediately after those two shows, the VP of entertainment at the Hard Rock began working on making the residency a reality. Besides Rose, the closest the band has to an original member is keyboardist Dizzy Reed. The rest of what constitutes GN’R these days includes guitarists DJ Ashba, Richard Fortus and Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, bassist Tommy Stinson, drummer Frank Ferrer and keyboardist Chris Pitman. And we wouldn’t be surprised if Sebastian Bach showed up. We would, however, be very surprised if Slash did. Tickets go on sale for the GN’R residency on Friday (17). The dates are as follows:
