The wait is finally over! And no, this isn’t a rumor or tease. After thirteen long years, Tool have finally revealed the release date of the follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days. The group seems to be slowly unveiling more details on the new record during their spring tour as they performed two new songs on Sunday (5th) at Welcome To Rockville with “Descending” and “Invincible.” Now, during last night’s (7th) show in Birmingham, Alabama, fans have shared a clip of a video screen displayed with the album’s release date.
Following the performance, Tool have also shared an image on their social media with a release date reading August 30th.
Hopefully, we will hear more info before the tour wraps up on the 19th in Bridgeview, IL.
