On December 11th, Magnetic Eye Records will release a series of records titled Day of Doom Live. The albums were recorded in November 2019 at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, NY, celebrating the label’s first decade. The albums will consist of the four headline sets from bands Elephant Tree, Domkraft, Summoner, and Horsehunter. Boston stoner-metal act Summoner, featuring bassist/singer Chris Johnson, who also performs bass in Deafheaven, have teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere the live track “Let the Light In.” The song will showcase the group’s heavy classic 70s – early 80s metal vibe mixed with modern experimentations.

The band commented:

“In contrast to our driving up-tempo stuff, this tune is all about the atmosphere.  We’ve been playing it since the early days, and it seems to morph and take on new forms every time we play it.”
