This week got off to a bad start for European ozzy Osbourne fans when the singer postponed the first four shows of his European tour due to illness. Today, the other shoe dropped, as the rest of the tour was postponed due to a severe upper respiratory infection. A remorseful Ozzy apologized via a press release:

“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to shit. First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September.   Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy.”

Ozzy is going to have a busy 2019, as he’d also been forced to postpone his last handful of US dates until later this year as well. The 70-year old should definitely rest up as much as he needs. Hopefully he’ll be back at full strength by September, because a world without Ozzy isn’t one we want to live in. Here are the dates that will be postponed.
