BSW Flyer FINALBack when we started Amplified, our new and emerging artist column, the first band we featured was Los Angeles sludge band Colombian Necktie.  The band has gone on to get press well beyond Metal Insider, as well as radio airplay around the country. The band kicked off March by playing with fellow sludge band Black Sheep Wall, who were celebrating the release of their album I’m Going to Kill Myself. 16, Teeth, The Love Below and Skinslip also played the show, which was named one of the best metal shows of the month by LA Weekly.

Metal Insider was a sponsor of the show, and Alix Valecillo from was there to capture the evening.
